Daniel Olguin is an actor, director, and award winning writer who is grateful this project even exists. It wouldn't exist without everyone on this website and beyond. From the cast, to crew, to donors, to creative team. He’s worked in film, theater, and commercials for a couple years. When he’s not working, he’s obsessively trying to find the perfect aesthetic.

Mia Mooko is a New York based actress and a recent BFA graduate of Pace University. She has performed at various regional theaters across the country, as well as many industry new works in NYC. 

Bryce Foley is an American actor from Ypsilanti, Michigan and is proud to have acted as a producer, director and actor on this special project. He wants to thank all of his collaborators for making this journey worthwhile. You can also catch him onstage this fall in Pass Over, and The Great Gatsby, a one man show.

Garland Ray is a New Jersey native, now New York based multidisciplinary performing artist. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies with a Voice Concentration from Montclair State University. Garland also trained as an actor in the Meisner technique under the tutelage of Terry Knickerbocker and completed the 2 year conservatory program at The Terry Knickerbocker Studio. Credits include David: A New Musical (Off-Broadway), The Book of Mormon (National Tour), and regional productions of Dreamgirls, Hairspray, and Godspell. 

Eko Amadi Gray, is an actor based in Brooklyn New York and a recent graduate of Terry Knickerbocker Studio. Born in Detroit, MI.

Mary-Angela Granberry is an interdisciplinary performer, who pulls from her background in dance, music, acting, and visual arts, in her creative process as an artist. Her versatility as a dance artist has enabled her to engage in various collaborations with notable credits including The Tonight Show, Beyonce, The Macy’s Parade, Lollapalooza Dance Festival, ELSCO Dance (artistic director Ellenore Scott), music videos, and presenting devised work at various theater spaces throughout New York City. She is a graduate of the conservatory program at Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn, NY. Additional acting credits include commercials for Jameson, Avon, and presenting a self-written monologue for the theater production of “The Women Have Something To Say” at Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theater.

Kelli Workman, an Arizona native, is a performing artist with over 30 years of experience as a multi-disciplinary performer, director, choreographer. She is grateful to be a small part of the Barely Friends story. Congratulations to the cast and crew and especially Daniel for bringing his vision to life!

Tyler Chen is a NYC based, Meisner-trained actor and voice actor. Some of his interests include outdoor activities like skiing and hiking, learning languages, playing with cats, building Spotify mood playlists, and playing story-driven RPGs. He especially loves witnessing art and meeting with fellow creatives who are passionate about their craft.

Alec Dahmer (he/him) is an actor/dancer/clown/artist originally from Toronto, Canada. This is his first time producing and directing, and he is forever grateful for Daniel allowing him to help him make this show. Alec is excited for the world to see his directorial debut and excited for the world to see this wonderful piece of art the whole cast and crew have worked so hard to make. Oh and yes, you can see Alec acting in shows like The Queen’s Gambit, Titans, and Anne with an E to name a few.

Brooklyn based DP, Avery Johnson, got started in image making as a preteen, shooting basketball and dancing videos in middle school. Over the past few years, Avery has evolved into shooting narrative, documentary, and commercial films. He intends to grab viewers’ attention with the use of light and color.

Babi Facioli is a New York based actor, writer and filmmaker born and raised in Brazil. She has worked on more than thirty stage projects and has been growing her knowledge and expertise in TV/Film since 2023. One of her proudest accomplishments to date is launching her film company, Samambaia Films, a platform dedicated to producing compelling short films and web series.

Oliver Stamatatos is a Cinematographer and Editor originally from Seattle, Washington. After beginning his career there, he moved to NYC in November of 2023 and has continued to shoot music videos, branded content, and short films. Oliver was psyched to get involved with “Barely Friends” and hopes to collaborate with the cast and crew of the show again soon.

Sara Hanaoka is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker based in Asbury Park, New Jersey and Brooklyn, NY. Born to Japanese and Cambodian parents, much of her work is inspired by relationship to her own identity and experiences living in the US, Tokyo, and Paris. Her films expand from narrative fiction to documentary such as Kill Your Surveyor (2022) and Adore Her (2021).

Chihiro Taira is a dancer/artist based in NYC. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, moved to the suburbs of Chicago at the age of 2, and has been in NYC since 2022. She’s been working on a lot of dance projects since her big move. She loves dancing, baking, hiking, and experiencing new things. She’s so grateful to Daniel and the entire cast and crew for being such a pleasure to work with on her first time being a production assistant! She had a blast and she looks forward to the next one!

Brooklyn resident and aspiring filmmaker, Jannio Vera, is passionate about working with a team to create films that resonate with audiences. Mainly working as a 1st Assistant Camera, he helps the camera team ensure that everything within the department runs smoothly and works with the DoP to keep the image sharp and in focus.
